Information on HEP’s Commercial Services
Overview
We’ve done HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services for businesses the size of taco bell, a ice cream stand, and everything in between. Businesses are given the same treatment as residential customers, but that does not mean that we won’t get to your business in a timely manner. Our average response time for a business is three hours (try finding another company that even has a clue what their time is). We understand that you have customers, and, when you do, there is no time to waste.
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
We do free estimates on all installations and duct cleaning. Clean ducts are extremely important in restaurants, hospitals, and all public places where sanitation is an issue. If you do not have clean air, you are putting yourself and all your customers at risk. On average the inside of buildings is 700% more polluted than the outside. We also recommend you get an air purifier so your ducts will not need to be cleaned as often. It is recommended you clean your ducts every 3 – 5 years.
HEP also does commercial refrigeration, and all types of venting for your stoves and what-not. We recommend heat recovery ventilators, but we also do humidifiers and dehumidifiers. We also do duct work and duct repair.
Electrical
HEP does everything, and of course that includes electrical, and entailed in electrical are the many, many facets of electrical. This includes wiring. That’s right, and ,if you’re building isn’t wired properly, you probably know it. We can also do some fancy tricks with wiring that you might not know about. We also replace electrical panels if yours looks like it was the one Benjamin Franklin made himself. We install and replace ceiling fans, and where would we be without lighting? Well, we wouldn’t know, now would we? If your business has other needs like rewiring outlets and replacing switches, we can do that too. We also do the wiring for your appliances, if you need a dedicated circuit or some other crazy gizmo. Everything else electrical is pretty cut and dry. It breaks; you call us; we come fix it.
Plumbing
Plumbing is by far the easiest of our five service industries (although, don’t tell our plumbing service manager that). However, if your plumbing is not done correctly, it can cause some serious problems and what’s more be seriously expensive. That’s why you always want to defer to the experts when it comes piping and pipe repair. The simplest screw up can cause major problems and costs down the line. We install water heaters of all kinds, along with any other need your business might have like toilets, faucets, sinks, or anything else!
Remodeling
Remodeling is a stressful project for any business, but HEP makes it a lot easier and, if you let it be, fun. We’ve done all kinds of remodeling jobs for all sizes of businesses. If you are unsure of exactly how your want to restructure your building, our ‘HEPrs’ will be happy to lend advice. They are the experts and have done many jobs like this in the past. Once you decide on the the plans, we can start the exciting process of implementation. HEP does all kinds of remodeling jobs, and that include bathroom remodeling and general remodeling (for the back room and other rooms that no one knows the name of, except us of course). So what are you waiting for? Your customers suffering inferior design! Call, and we’ll sort it out for you!
Energy Efficiency
So you claim to be a green business, huh? You put some recycling bins out front, and now you’ve saved the planet? Wrong. Many businesses claim to be “green”, but, if you ask them, they have no idea what they’re doing to save the environment. This is where your business can separate itself from the pack. If your business is truly “green”, customers will pour out their wallets to help you. The environment is a true concern, and, if you protect it, your business is on the cutting edge.
So where do you start? First, check out our green videos. Then make sure that your building envelope is sealed. After that, you make sure that you have adequate insulation, and that means going beyond what code requires. Next, you make sure your windows and doors are energy efficient and invoke the use of ceiling fans (these are much more energy efficient than your air conditioning unit). All right, so now you’ve got a start on greening your business, but it doesn’t stop there.
You need to make sure you have an energy efficient water heater, and if your business is of any size at all, you’re probably going to want to go tankless. After that, just take a look at your business and see any places where you can save energy. Make sure you think outside the box!
So, now your business is officialy green, but if you’re really adamant about saving the environment, you can install solar panels or find out how you can use other renewable energy sources.
